Welcome to the Archive. In this space, you will find a compilation of projects and videos that I have worked on during my 2 years in Ithaca. The topic of projects range from salvage and deconstruction of building materials, to the conversion of landfills into parks, to mapping identity in youths, to small scale manufacturing, and all explore the ephemeral yet perpetuating elements of human creation. My hope is that you explore the space at your own time and leisure with the knowledge that this space, these projects, the creator (me), and the viewer (you) are works-in-progress-in-perpetuity.

Archives are homes in their own right—housing the media which hold our cultural heritage and sheltering these narratives from the erosion of time and memory. They provide us with a sense of continuity, tracing our roots and offering glimpses into the spirit of the documented and the documentor. Yet, archives are not static entities. They harbor contradictions, biases, and the inevitability of reinterpretation. It is within this tension that I find inspiration, seeking to find patterns and similarities between otherwise disjointed existences.

The process of compiling this work was complicated. My goal was to provide enough information but still leave enough open for interpretation. The functional ability to draw or annotate on this page is my invitation for the viewer to critically engage with the narratives we construct from what is cataloged. With every new participant, the archive takes on new life and new interpretations. And with every exit, a blank canvas resets the page.

I welcome you to enjoy [or insert word]

 this archive and its contents.

Please feel free to have a look around and make yourself at home.
